Brother Darrell
The guy who turned his love for beer into a thriving craft brewery where the drinks are top-notch, and the atmosphere is all about good vibes and great company. But while Starr Craft Brewery keeps things crisp and classy, Darrell saves the real bullshit and belly laughs for the High Gravity podcast. Swapping a career in telecom for a life of hops and suds, he’s now all about sharing brewing stories, cracking jokes, and connecting with fellow beer lovers. Mr. Jim
Mr. Jim is a craft beer enthusiast, avid gardener, beekeeper and poultryman raising a flock of chickens primarily for eggs. He has been a passionate home brewer for many years enjoying everything from imperial stouts to crisp cold Kolsch’s and also enjoys high purity hot pepper sauces and honey from his many bee hives. He enjoys long walks in the woods with his chickens, can never pass up a good D&D campaign with his friends and can always find time to explore his collection or try something new when it comes to board games.
Johnny Orange
Johnny Orange has been doing podcasts since the 4 wheel drive and off road show “Wheelin” began in 2018 with a good friend of his Keith. After a short hiatus for unfortunate reasons, he came back on the waves with “High Gravity” when the guys started the show in October of 2023. He has been doing karaoke for many years which is where his persona name “Johnny Orange” actually came from. He has been an avid craft beer and homebrew enthusiast and enjoys home brewing, technical SCUBA diving, building his Jeeps and other project vehicles among a large number of other activities. His origins into home brewing and craft beer can best be read in this excerpt from one of his previous social media interviews discussing how he came into the beer world:
